Job summary

Skin and Cancer Institute is seeking a Physician Assistant in California to work closely with board-certified dermatologists and medical staff, focusing on skin cancer detection, treatment, and overall patient care. The role offers a supportive environment with training provided for the right candidate.

You will perform skin evaluations, assist in surgeries, educate patients, and document care thoroughly while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maintain high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in California.
• Dermatology experience preferred, but training provided for the right candidate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
• Passion for patient care and dermatologic excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive skin evaluations and skin cancer screenings.
• Diagnose and treat a broad range of dermatologic conditions.
• Conduct in-office procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and more.
• Assist in surgical dermatology cases and post-operative care.
• Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, and prevention.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure top-quality care.
