- Examine each patient, take a detailed medical history, and chart everything medically important
- Read test results, interpret data, and make diagnostic suggestions based on results
- Explain test results and health outcomes to patients
- Prescribe medication or therapy with physician oversight as part of a larger health plan
- Collaborate with nurses, other PAs, and physicians to develop comprehensive treatment plans
