Job summary

Altea Healthcare in Belleville, IL is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) for post-acute care. This part-time weekend role involves travel between two facilities and offers training, mentorship, and support to thrive in geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care.

As a PA-C, you will perform exams, order tests, diagnose and manage conditions, prescribe medications, collaborate with physicians and staff, educate patients and families, and document care.

Qualifications

• Current DEA registration or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
• All experience levels welcome; training and mentorship provided.
• Interest in geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

As a PA-C, you will be a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients to better health. No two days are the same!

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
