Job summary

Altea Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) for a part-time role in post-acute care. You will work 2-3 days a week, performing exams, managing conditions, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team in a post-acute setting.

We welcome both experienced providers and new graduates. A PA-C license (or eligibility) and current DEA registration are required or obtainable before start date. Training and mentorship are provided to support growth and balance.

Qualifications

• PA-C license or eligibility to obtain.
• Current DEA registration or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
• Training & mentorship available for all experience levels.
• Interest in geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care.

Responsibilities

• Performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribing medications and creating treatment plans.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educating patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Documenting patient care accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:
