Job summary

Pueblo Community Health Center seeks a compassionate Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) with a focus on pediatrics to join our growing, integrated care network. You will provide comprehensive primary care for infants, children, and adolescents in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • National certification as a Physician Assistant; CAQ in Pediatrics strongly desired.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Colorado; current BLS/CPR.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary and preventive care to pediatric patients (birth through adolescence).
  • Perform well‑child exams, developmental screenings, and immunizations.
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic conditions.
  • Deliver family-centered care, education, and anticipatory guidance.
  • Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health, dental, and care coordination teams.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and care team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with clinical standards.
  • Adhere to all PCHC clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.

Salary Range: $105,796.00 - $136,913.00 / year

The PA-C at PCHC provides comprehensive, patient-centered medical care with a strong focus on Pediatrics with an opportunity of minimal Family Practice, if desired for continuity of care, within a community health center setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and preventive care to pediatric patients (birth through adolescence)
  • Perform well‑child exams, developmental screenings, and immunizations
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic conditions
  • Deliver family-centered care, education, and anticipatory guidance
  • Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health, dental, and care coordination teams

Qualifications

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Colorado
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Experience in pediatrics, family medicine, or community health preferred
