Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the Cardiothoracic Surgery operating room team on day shifts. You will serve as 1st and 2nd assistant in the OR, supporting complex cardiac procedures at the Columbia University Campus.

The role requires NYS licensure and NCCPA certification with a Bachelor's or Master's in PA studies; prior OR experience and robotics/VE harvesting experience are preferred. On-site position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the Operating Room as 1st and 2nd assistant for Cardiothoracic procedures.

Join our expanding adult Cardiothoracic Surgery service working 12.5 hr shifts/3 days a week. In this role, you will be 1st and 2nd assisting in the Operating Room.

Preferred Criteria

• 1-2 years of OR experience
• Endoscopic vein harvesting experience
• Robotics experience

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
• Current NYS licensure
• NCCPA certification
