Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) in Breast Surgery to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in collaboration with breast surgeons and the multidisciplinary team.
You will participate in evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and perioperative care, with opportunities in ambulatory clinics, OR, and inpatient services, including on-call coverage as needed.

The Physician Assistant (PA) for Breast Surgery provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for patients undergoing evaluation and treatment for breast conditions. Working collaboratively with breast surgeons, fellows, residents, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team, the PA participates in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients throughout their surgical journey. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating individualized plans of care that address the medical, surgical, and supportive needs of patients and their families. The PA works in close collaboration with supervising physicians and the broader care team. Clinical responsibilities include patient evaluation and management in the ambulatory clinic, assisting in the operating room, and providing care for hospitalized surgical patients. The position may also involve participation in off-hours coverage, weekend responsibilities, and on‑call rotations as needed to support patient care and departmental operations.

Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and or up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Job is physical in nature and employee needs to stand and/or move around through the majority of their shift.
$133,120.00 USD - $230,000.00 USD The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
