Key Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient neurosurgery consults and follow-ups (average 4 per day; volume varies).
• Serve as first assistant in the operating room, primarily responsible for assisting with procedures and performing wound closure.
• Participate in outpatient clinic for pre- and post-operative patient management.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
• Eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
