Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited PA or NP program.
• Active state license, unrestricted DEA registration, and current BLS.
• Clinical experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Primary Care, or Ambulatory Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient interviews, review histories, perform exams, and diagnose acute illnesses/injuries.
• Order/interpret tests including X-rays, labs, and EKGs.
• Perform suturing, wound care, incisions, drainage, splinting, and foreign body removal.
• Prescribe medications and outline clear treatment plans.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation for all encounters.
• Lead and collaborate with Medical Assistants and X-Ray Techs.

As part of a national network of nearly 400 clinics, our locally family-owned center provides top-tier urgent care 7 days a week, equipped with on-site lab and X-ray capabilities.

We are seeking talented Physician Assistants (PA) or Nurse Practitioners (NP) who are committed to providing exceptional clinical care and outstanding patient experiences.

Position Details & Schedule

• Employment Type: Part-time with potential for Full-time transition.


• Weekday Shifts: 8-hour (9am-5pm), 6-hour (8am-2pm or 2pm-8pm), or 12-hour (8am-8pm).


• Weekend Shifts: 9-hour (8am-5pm) or 5-hour (9am-2pm).


• Pacing: Comfort seeing 3-4 patients per hour and working independently required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient interviews, review medical histories, perform physical exams, and accurately diagnose acute illnesses and injuries.


• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays, lab work, and EKGs.


• Perform minor procedures such as suturing, wound debridement, incision & drainage, splinting, and foreign body removal.


• Prescribe medications and outline clear, comprehensive treatment plans.


• Clearly educate patients on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.


• Maintain accurate EMR documentation for all patient encounters.


• Lead and collaborate with a support team of experienced Medical Assistants and X-Ray Techs.
