Job summary

VNA Health Group, via Visiting Physician Services (VPS), delivers comprehensive in-home medical care for older adults who are homebound or medically complex. The Physician Assistant will provide high-quality care, perform assessments, manage chronic conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to keep patients safe and comfortable at home.

This role emphasizes adherence to infection control, participation in QAPI programs, and compassionate, patient-centered care in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Completion of Physician Assistant (PA) accredited program.
• Licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) in NJ with prescriptive authority; maintain a CDS and DEA.
• National certification as a PA with AAPA.
• Experience providing care to Adult or Geriatric patients.
• 2+ years of Physician Assistant experience and/or significant experience as a registered nurse.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills.

For more than 20 years, we've provided high-quality, home-based primary care to older adults who are homebound, medically complex, or living with chronic conditions. As part of the Parker Advanced Care Institute at VNA Health Group, our interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants delivers comprehensive in-home medical care, including routine visits, chronic disease management, telehealth, diagnostics, and wound care. Position Summary:

Responsible for ensuring delivery of high quality care practices in the treatment of symptoms and promoting the highest quality of life for homebound patients and their families

Working Conditions/Physical Demand:

Working indoors/outdoors with Client/Customer contact and clinical equipment and use of phone and computer; valid driver's license and automobile insurance

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $60 to USD $72. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions.
