Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Physician Assistant for a contract, part-time role in healthcare facilities. The PA will provide medical services to patients of all ages under physician direction, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to collect data, conduct tests, and perform examinations.

The position includes prescribing medications, ordering labs, and delivering evidence-based care. Requires active PA license, BLS, ACLS/PALS as required, and at least 1 year of PA experience.

Competenze

Bachelor's Degree in Health Science or equivalent.
PA License/Registration required by state Medical Board.
NCCPA certification preferred; may be required by state regulations.
One year of PA experience strongly preferred.
BLS certified required.
ACLS/PALS per state requirements.

The Physician Assistant provides medical services topatients of all ages under the direction or in collaboration with a physicianas required by law. The PhysicianAssistant collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to collect and documentpatient data, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures,performs physician examinations, assessments and screenings, prescribesmedications and treatments, orders and schedules laboratory studies to providesevidence based care and comprehensive services, including direct patient care services. The Physician Assistant may work in allspecialty and primary care areas, diagnosing and treating common illnesses andperforming minor procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Health Science field preferred, may be required by state regulations or contract specifications
Physician's Assistant Certificate of Registration or Licensefrom the state Medical Board
Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the NationalCommission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred; may be requiredby state regulations or contract specifications
One (1) year of experience as a Physician's Assistantstrongly preferred
BLS certified required
ACLS/PALS per state or contract requirements.
Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
