Qualifications

• Active NCCPA board certification.
• Current New Jersey PA license with prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and manage chronic conditions (16+).
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Formulate and adjust patient-centered treatment plans.
• Educate and counsel patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and lifestyle changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, health assessments, and routine preventive care visits.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and manage ongoing chronic conditions for patients aged 16 and older.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (lab work, imaging, point-of-care testing).
• Formulate and adjust patient-centered treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Educate and counsel patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment regimens, and lifestyle interventions.
• Coordinate care transitions, specialists referrals, and multidisciplinary team collaborations.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely electronic health records (EHR).
• Adhere strictly to clinical protocols, HIPAA guidelines, OSHA standards, and state regulations.

Requirements

Education & Credentials:

• Certification: Active Board Certification (NCCPA) as a Physician Assistant.
• Licensure: Current (or eligible for) Physician Assistant license in the State of New Jersey with prescriptive authority.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine preferred.
