Job summary

Le CYR Consulting is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide high-quality patient care and support physicians in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The PA-C will conduct assessments, diagnose conditions, order tests, and develop individualized care plans while documenting in EMR systems and complying with healthcare regulations. Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current NCCPA certification.
  • Active state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
  • DEA license (or ability to obtain).
  • Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical exams.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations.
  • Perform minor procedures as appropriate to specialty.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and clinic policies.

Work Environment & Schedule
  • Clinic-based setting
