Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a proactive Physician Assistant to support multiple clinics in the East North Carolina region. You will deliver urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine, with leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts are determined in advance; clinics operate with extended hours to cover weekdays and weekends. Requires PA board certification and MSN or higher, with strong EMR/Office skills.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher degree required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Minor surgery such as toenail removal and foreign object removal.
• Suturing and splinting.
• General orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review of x-rays (over-read by Radiologist).
• Provide dermatology and eye care as needed.
• Interpret EKGs.
• Emergency management and GYN care.
• Care for children of all ages and occupational medicine.
• Telemedicine as applicable.

Floating Physician Assistant – East North Carolina Region $5,000 Sign-On Bonus!

MainStreet Family Care is growing and we're looking to hire a fast, fun, and friendly Physician Assistant to work in multiple clinics in your area (Wilmington, Havelock, Swansboro, Kinston). You will provide patient-focused care to help our patients feel better FAST! Boom! Services provided to the public include urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal applicant will be flexible working with teams in different clinics and providing leadership in a high volume and fast-paced urgent care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing
• Splinting
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management
• Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too)
• General Dermatology
• General eye problems
• General EKG interpretations
• Emergency management skills
• General GYN expertise
• Treating children of all ages
• Occupational medicine
• Telemedicine

Schedule:

• Shifts determined two months in advance
• MainStreet Clinic Hours
  • Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• KidsStreet Clinic Hours
  • Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Work hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, floaters, etc.

Qualifications:
