Job summary

U.S. Army 2nd Medical Recruiting Battalion is looking for Physician Assistants to provide a wide range of medical services for Soldiers and their families. This role offers numerous opportunities for continued education, access to a competitive benefits package, including loan repayment and specialized training. Applicants must have a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies and relevant certifications. This position allows for both Active Duty and Army Reserve service in North Carolina, enabling you to serve your country while supporting your community.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited university.
  • Foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates.
  • Must have certification by the National Commission for Certified Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen for Active Duty.
  • Must have at least a permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for Soldiers and their families.
  • Perform a full spectrum of medical care to Soldiers and their families within your given clinical privileges.
  • Advise on the medical needs for stabilization and transportation of patients.
