This is a full-time, on-site Physician Assistant role based in Cary, NC. The Physician Assistant will provide direct patient care in collaboration with psychiatrists, including conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments, documenting histories, and performing mental status examinations. Daily responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment plans, prescribing and managing medications as allowed by licensure, monitoring treatment response, and adjusting interventions as clinically indicated. The role involves delivering patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment options, and lifestyle strategies, with a focus on holistic and trauma-informed care. The Physician Assistant will also coordinate with therapists and other healthcare professionals, maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record, and participate in quality improvement and case review activities to support best outcomes.
