Overview

The Department of Anesthesiology at Banner University Medical Group Tucson is growing and actively interviewing physician anesthesiologists to provide exceptional patient care in a community-based model. Outpatient surgical locations with 100% personal performance anesthesia and no overnight call.

Responsibilities

• 100% solo (personal performance) cases only.
• No overnight call; no holiday work.
• Outpatient surgical cases across Orthopedics, GI, Ophthalmology, ENT, GYN, Plastics, Urology, and General Surgery.
• Support cases in a modern, technologically advanced outpatient settings at Tucson campus, South Tucson campus, and ASC locations.
• Provide bread-and-butter anesthesiology case work with no subspecialty focus.

Compensation and Benefits

• 17 shifts per month for full-time equivalent (FTE); part-time options welcomed with prorated shift requirements and compensation.
• Sign-on bonus: $50K.
• Anticipated total annual compensation: $545k (guaranteed base salary plus productivity units, shift differentials, and incentive bonus).
• Loan Repayment assistance: $100K available; includes potential Public Service Loan Forgiveness options.
