Overview

OptumCare Anesthesia has an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist in Las Vegas. OptumCare is a multi-specialty group of physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants headquartered in the greater Las Vegas area. OptumCare offers patients compassion, innovation, and quality care throughout Southern Nevada.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for general surgical cases, minor orthopedics with occasional nerve blocks, gastroenterology sedation, ophthalmology, dental surgery and gynecological cases. No OB or open heart.
• Assessment of, consultation for, and preparation of patients for anesthesia.
• Relief and prevention of pain during and following surgical, therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the State of Nevada or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Must have a valid DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment.

Salary range for this role is $373,500 to $589,500 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
