Job summary

CompHealth is assisting Augusta, GA with recruiting anesthesiologists to join a large academic department. The role covers a broad case mix, with opportunities for teaching, research and mentorship in a university setting.

Board-certified or eligible physicians and those requiring visa sponsorship are welcome. Competitive compensation with relocation assistance, sign-on bonus and generous PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Anesthesiology or eligibility.
• Willingness to consider J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship.
• Experience in an academic/university setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for diverse cases including obstetrics, neurosurgery, trauma and more.
• Collaborate with a large multidisciplinary team of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, residents and fellows.
• Support teaching, research and mentorship within a university academic environment.
• Maintain high-quality patient care and safety throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monday – Friday clinical shifts from 7 am – 5 pm with call from home
• Large, multidisciplinary team of 44 – 48 anesthesiologists, CRNAs, residents, and fellows
• Diverse case mix including obstetrics, neurosurgery, trauma, cardiac, robotics, and more
• Opportunities for teaching, research, and mentorship in a university academic setting
