About the Position

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport & Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – Shreveport seeks applicants to join our team at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology under the leadership of Wendy K. Bernstein, MD, MBA, FASA, FAMWA.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor 32 residents and 3 pain fellows in our fully ACGME‑accredited program.
• Train future neuroanesthesiologists through our ICPNT‑certified fellowship.
• Provide clinical care across multiple sites including the Academic Medical Center, St. Mary Medical Center, Feist‑Weiller Cancer Center, and OLHS Regional Urology Ambulatory Surgery Center.
• Engage in scholarly activity and patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for active Louisiana Medical Licensure.
• Graduating anesthesia residents welcome to apply.
