Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing is seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in Hanover, PA. The schedule runs 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with potential extension. Board-certified anesthesiologists, PA license, and DEA registration are required.

Responsibilities include supervising CRNAs, providing anesthesia in ambulatory surgery centers, and handling both medical direction and independent cases. EpIC EMR will be used for documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in anesthesiology.
• Maintain Pennsylvania license or LOQ.
• Maintain active DEA registration and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesiology services in an Ambulatory Surgery Center setting.
• Work Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break, no call required.
• Support and medically direct CRNAs as needed.
• Perform both medical direction and independent anesthesia cases.
• Administer anesthesia for outpatient cases across all specialties, excluding cardiac and OB.
• Perform orthopedic cases with regional nerve blocks.
• Provide anesthesia care for all age groups, including pediatric patients.

Pay Rate: $308 - $332/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in Hanover, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Anesthesiologist:

• Provide anesthesiology services in an Ambulatory Surgery Center setting
• Work Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break, no call required
• Support and medically direct CRNAs as needed
• Perform both medical direction and independent anesthesia cases
• Administer anesthesia for outpatient cases across all specialties, excluding cardiac and OB
• Perform orthopedic cases with regional nerve blocks (high volume required)
• Provide anesthesia care for all age groups, including pediatric patients (infants under 1 year for ENT tubes and tonsils)
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting
• Maintain Board Certification in Anesthesiology (Board Eligible not accepted)
• Maintain active Pennsylvania license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Meet minimum of 2+ years of experience in anesthesiology
• Complete credentialing requirements within 90-day timeframe
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
