Independence Health System Inc. seeks an experienced Anesthesiologist to examine patients, review medical histories, and determine anesthesia plans.
This role involves monitoring during the perioperative period, discussing options and risks with patients, and ensuring safety and documentation throughout care. The ideal candidate has MD or DO credentials, 3+ years in anesthesiology, and board certification or eligibility.
The Anesthesiologist is responsible for examining patients, reviewing their medical history, determining the physical status of the patient, informing the patient of all risks/side effects associated with anesthesia, monitoring and evaluating patient care throughout the surgical process, and ensuring patient safety. The position manages patients throughout the continuum of hospital care by collaborating with other medical professionals.
