Job summary

Mindrift is seeking US-based physicians to contribute to an AI evaluation program by reviewing clinical EHR vignettes. You will assess vignette accuracy, diagnostic and treatment reasoning, and provide concise rationales.

The role is part-time, project-based, with compensation per accepted task and a possible hourly-equivalent up to $100. Ideal candidates hold an MD or DO with an active US license, board-certified or in residency with recent patient care, and strong English writing skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO degree and an active, unrestricted US medical license.
• Board certification or completion of residency with recent direct patient care (attending-level preferred).
• Broad, multi-system diagnostic and treatment experience (internal, family, emergency, or hospital medicine).
• Strong clinical reasoning: differential diagnosis, next-step management, and evidence-based guidelines.
• Prior experience in medical AI evaluation, clinical content review, or medical annotation is a plus.
• Strong written English (C1+).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clinical EHR vignettes paired with questions, proposed answers, and distractors across multiple systems (cardiovascular, nervous, etc.).
• Score clinical reasoning quality of benchmark items and trap quality.
• Check reasoning traces and write short rationales.
• Work within three independent blind reads, followed by physician adjudication.
