Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking an Associate Medical Director, Physician Advisor to enhance Utilization Management through oversight and education. This role involves collaborating with medical staff and leadership to ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care, while taking part in the Utilization Review Committee and conducting case reviews.

The ideal candidate is a licensed physician with at least three years of clinical experience and holds a medical license in California. A competitive salary ranging from $250,000 to $410,000 will be offered, along with benefits and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician (MD/DO/MBBS) with clinical practice experience.
• Minimum three years experience in clinical practice, preferable in inpatient.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.

Responsibilities

• Support Utilization Management through clinical oversight and education.
• Participate in Utilization Review Committee to optimize workflows.
• Prepare for payer medical director discussions regarding cases.
