Job summary

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
• Current unrestricted medical license to practice in the employment state.
• Active DEA license.
• Proficiency with EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care by completing histories and physicals on new patients and routine rounds (minimum weekly).
• Partner with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to manage regulatory and complex patient visits, ensuring compliance and clinical excellence.
• Oversee APP performance, mentoring and elevating care delivery across the team.
• Close quality gaps when prompted, driving measurable improvements in patient outcomes.
• Serve as a trusted advocate for patients and align with Curana Health’s mission in communities.

Summary

In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted provider for residents by delivering high-quality, person-centered care, building strong relationships with facility staff, and mentoring APPs to ensure consistent, coordinated care. Full-Time or Part-Time Schedules Available

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care by completing history and physicals on new patients and conducting routine rounding (minimum once per week).

• Partner with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to manage regulatory and complex patient visits, ensuring compliance and clinical excellence.

• Oversee APP performance, serving as a mentor and resource to elevate care delivery across your team.

This role requires travel to and from one or more assigned facilities. Depending on the amount of travel required, Curana may in future determine that a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record are required.
