Job summary

EPIC Health System Llc is launching a new Warren, MI location and seeks a Physician – Family Medicine or Med-Peds to provide exceptional outpatient care across all ages. The role welcomes experienced physicians and recent residency graduates willing to build in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

You'll work with Advanced Practice Providers, Behavioral Health Specialists, Care Managers, and specialists to deliver high-quality, coordinated care and are expected to supervise APPs as

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine & Pediatrics (Med-Peds).
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• DEA license and controlled substance registration (or ability to obtain).
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care services for patients across all ages (Family Medicine or Med-Peds scope).
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Perform annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, and routine physical examinations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on long‑term health and wellness.
• Work closely with physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Care Managers, Behavioral Health, and specialty teams.
• Supervise and collaborate with Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners as appropriate.
• Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow‑up care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Stay current on evidence-based medicine and clinical best practices.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and value‑based care programs.

We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine & Pediatrics (Med-Peds) Physician to join our growing primary care team in Metro Detroit. What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
  • Family Medicine or
  • Internal Medicine & Pediatrics (Med-Peds)
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• DEA license and controlled substance registration (or ability to obtain).
• Excellent communication and patient‑centered care skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous outpatient primary care experience is preferred, but recent residency graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with value‑based care or population health is a plus.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR); Athena experience is a plus.

Compensation

• Base Salary: $200,000–$300,000 annually, based on experience
• Bonus Potential: Up to $100,000 annually based on productivity and performance
