Job summary

Planned Parenthood is seeking a Physician in Tallahassee, FL to provide comprehensive reproductive and general healthcare. The role includes delivering surgical services, mentoring clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Relocation assistance is available. The physician will work within a mission-driven organization focused on patient-centered care, equity, and access to reproductive health services for diverse communities.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. with current Florida license (or eligibility)
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or OB/GYN
• At least 5 years of clinical experience in women’s health, family practice, or related specialty
• Prescriptive authority with active licensure
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to reproductive healthcare access, patient confidentiality, and health equity

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based reproductive and general healthcare.
• Deliver surgical services, including medication and surgical terminations, in accordance with standards and guidelines.
• Mentor and support clinical staff through orientation, training, and coaching.
• Serve as a liaison between the Chief Medical Officer and health center staff.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and quality standards.

Your Role

As a Planned Parenthood Physician, you will:
