Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a Gastroenterologist for an urgent locum tenens assignment in Long Island, NY, starting ASAP and ongoing. The physician will cover both clinic and hospital duties with no on-call requirements.

The clinic schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., seeing about 15 patients daily, while hospital rounds include roughly four consults per day with anesthesia support. Board-certified or eligible physicians licensed in NY are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• MD physician with board certification in Gastroenterology (or eligible).
• Licensed to practice medicine in New York State.
• Eligible for locum tenens assignments in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide GI coverage in clinic and hospital.
• Clinic: ~15 patients per day, Monday–Friday, 7:45 a.m.–4:30 p.m., no call.
• Hospital: daily rounding and ~4 consults per day, with anesthesia support, no call.
