Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is a leading national wound care physician group seeking MDs and DOs who want to practice medicine with true autonomy and minimal overhead. As a mobile wound care physician and independent contractor, you will provide hands-on care to geriatric patients in nursing facilities, make clinical decisions, and manage outcomes while SWC handles contracts and billing.

With a pay structure based on per-patient visits and procedures, plus quarterly bonuses and company-provided training,

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license.
• Residency completion and board certification/eligibility not required.

Responsibilities

• Make clinical decisions and manage patient outcomes.
• Operate as a 1099 independent contractor with billing/facility contracts handled by SWC.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.

• Note: You do not need to have completed a full residency program and do not need to be Board Certified/Eligible to thrive in this role.
