Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking physicians to lead wound care initiatives in SNFs across the Charlotte Metro area. This role offers clinical autonomy and a pathway to impactful patient outcomes with less corporate bureaucracy.

Compensation is strong with uncapped earnings and a structured pay model; training and CME support are provided to bridge into wound care specialties. Flexible, independent contractor options are available in a physician-friendly setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with unrestricted North Carolina medical license or eligibility.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcomed; no prior wound care experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead wound care initiatives within Skilled Nursing Facilities in the Charlotte Metro area.
• Perform bedside procedures including debridement and use of advanced dressings.

Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/Clear North Carolina Medical License: (Or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Open Background: We welcome Surgeons of all backgrounds, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine physicians. No previous wound care experience is required; we provide comprehensive specialty training.
