Job summary

Curana Health is seeking a mission-driven Physician to provide high-quality, person-centered care in skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities. You’ll build strong relationships with facility staff and mentor APPs to ensure coordinated care.

The position offers autonomy of private practice within a leading healthcare organization, with opportunities for leadership, innovation, and data-driven insights. Full-Time or Part-Time schedules available.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of employment.
  • Active DEA License.
  • Proficiency with EMR.
  • Compassionate, intelligent, motivated, and a team player.

Responsibilities

  • Provide history and physicals on new patients and perform routine rounds (minimum once per week).
  • Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to manage regulatory and complex visits.
  • Mentor APPs to elevate care delivery across the team.
  • Close quality gaps to drive improvements in patient outcomes.
  • Advocate for patients and champion what matters most to them.

Summary

We’re seeking a mission-driven Physician to join Curana Health and make a meaningful impact in skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted provider for residents by delivering high-quality, person-centered care, building strong relationships with facility staff, and mentoring APPs to ensure consistent, coordinated care. Full-Time or Part-Time Schedules Available

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based care by completing history and physicals on new patients and conducting routine rounding (minimum once per week).

  • Partner with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to manage regulatory and complex patient visits, ensuring compliance and clinical excellence.

  • Oversee APP performance, serving as a mentor and resource to elevate care delivery across your team.

  • Close quality gaps when prompted, driving measurable improvements in patient outcomes.

  • Serve as a trusted advocate for patients—championing what matters most to them.

This role requires travel to and from one or more assigned facilities. Depending on the amount of travel required, Curana may in future determine that a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record are required. If so, you will be provided with thirty (30) days notice of this requirement.
