BenchMark Physical Therapy in Fletcher, NC is seeking a Physical Therapy Technician to join our team. The role is performed under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist and supports patient care in a clinic setting.

The technician assists with therapy exercises, prepares treatment areas, and handles basic administrative tasks such as scheduling and intake. A high school diploma and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Must be organized and capable of multitasking.
• Proficient with computers and learning new software programs.

Responsibilities

• Preparing equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
• Assisting and observing patients perform prescribed therapy exercises and documenting responses.
• Performing basic prescribed treatments such as applying ice or heat as instructed.
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, including changing linens.
• Performing administrative tasks such as patient intake, answering calls, and scheduling appointments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
