Qualifications

• Background in a physical therapy office is preferred.

• Experience with patient scheduling and EMR systems preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• 1-2 years of physical therapy office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and assists them into therapy apparel and prepares them for treatment.
• Answers questions and provides information to patients while alleviating fears.
• Assists with therapy tasks: heat packs, whirlpool, tracking mobility, and guiding exercises.
• Educates patients on proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
• Maintains confidentiality and a safe, clean working environment.
• Provides equipment and supplies to treatment area and positions equipment for therapist access.
• Ensures PT equipment is operational and reports malfunctions.
• Accepts new requests and looks for ways to add value to the department.
