Job summary

ProActive Physical Therapy in National City is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Technician to join a friendly, patient-focused team. You’ll assist providers during exercises and treatments and help patients have a smooth, positive visit.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about healthcare, exercise, anatomy and physiology, with good people skills and a willingness to learn. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Friendly, approachable and enjoy interacting with people.
• Willing to learn and grow in a healthcare setting.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers during patient exercises and treatments.
• Greet patients and guide them, ensuring a smooth visit.
• Assist Front Office Coordinator with greeting, scheduling, calls, and copays.
• Maintain clear communication between providers, patients and front office staff.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with adaptability and time management.

Work Environment

• Requires manual dexterity and general strength and endurance.
• Routine lifting (5-35 lbs), carrying (5-10 lbs), pushing (5-150 lbs), and sustained gripping (40-50 lbs).
• Guarding lift loads of 120-140 lbs.
