Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 18 years of age or older.
• Majoring in Kinesiology/Biology/Exercise Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with designated aspects of patient care.
• Instruct, motivate, and assist patients to learn and improve functional activities.
• Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises under supervision of professional staff.
• Observe the patient during activities and document progress.
• Effectively communicate patient progress and reactions to treatment to the therapist.
