Job summary

BenchMark Physical Therapy in Hinesville, GA seeks a Physical Therapy Technician to join our team. This unlicensed role supports licensed PTs/OTs in delivering care, preparing treatment areas, and handling administrative duties.

The technician assists patients with prescribed exercises, performs basic treatments as directed, and maintains equipment and linens. Strong customer service, organization, and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficient in using computers and learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Preparing equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
• Assisting and/or observing patients perform prescribed therapy exercises and documenting responses to treatment.
• Performing basic prescribed treatments such as applying ice packs and heat pads as instructed.
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, and laundering linens.
• Performing administrative tasks, including assisting with patient intake, answering calls and scheduling appointments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
