Job summary

ApexNetwork Physical Therapy in Leon Springs, TX, is seeking a Physical Therapy Technician/Tech-Aide to join our team on a PRN, in-person basis. You will support therapists by setting up and monitoring daily exercise treatments and assisting patients on equipment according to each plan of care.

This role emphasizes compassionate patient care, clear communication with patients, doctors, insurance reps, and team members, plus front-desk and billing support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support Therapists: Assist in setting up and monitoring daily exercise treatments based on the plan of care.
• Equipment Setup: Set up and assist patients on equipment and devices.
• Data Entry & Administrative Support: Maintain patient records and information.
• Clinic Cleanliness & Organization: Keep therapy area tidy and organized as needed.
• Customer Service: Answer phones, handle referrals, pre-authorize visits, assist front desk or billing duties.
• Teamwork: Assist other clinics or departments as necessary and stay flexible.

Status: PRN or as-needed

Exercise Specialist/Physical Therapy Technician Tasks:

• Support Therapists : Assist in setting up and monitoring daily exercise treatments based on the therapist’s plan of care.
• Equipment Setup : Learn to set up and assist patients on a variety of equipment, including machine weights and aerobic conditioning devices, all as part of personalized treatment plans.
• Data Entry & Administrative Support : Maintain accurate patient records, marketing materials, and patient information.
• Clinic Cleanliness & Organization : Keep the therapy area tidy, follow cleaning protocols, and take the initiative to organize when patient assistance is not required.
• Customer Service : Answer phones, take referrals, pre-authorize visits, and provide additional support with front desk or billing duties as needed.
• Teamwork : Assist other clinics or departments as necessary, always staying flexible and willing to pitch in where needed.
