Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have Patient Care Technician certification or on the job training; minimum six months experience in patient care or completion of PCYT or CAN
• Current CPR certification recommended
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with patients and physicians
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to accurately document information for billing
• Computer experience in windows, spreadsheets, and word processing

Responsibilities

• Assist PT/PTA with daily therapy tasks as trained by the PT.
• Help maintain and update patient case files.
• Provide patient education under PT guidance.
• Support Business Office tasks: scheduling, filing, copying, and authorizations.
• Organize equipment and manage linen supply.
• Maintain a safe, clean facility and report equipment repairs.
• Document information accurately for billing purposes.
• Assist with clinical office assignments as directed.
