Vibra Travels is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with experience supporting physical therapy services in hospitals or inpatient rehab settings.

Minimum qualifications include an active PTA license, 2+ years of relevant experience, accredited PTA program completion, a valid driver’s license, and ability to travel by air and ground transportation.

Qualifications

• Current, valid PTA license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of two years of PTA experience in hospital, rehab, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel using air and ground transportation.
• Current BLS certification (vendor-approved; some clients require AHA).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers and mobility activities.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Document care and maintain EMR records per standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary rehab teams.

We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with experience supporting physical therapy services in a hospital or Inpatient Rehabilitation setting. Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of employment required
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a hospital, rehab, skilled nursing, or outpatient setting required
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:

• Current, valid, and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant required
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• Experience implementing physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Ability to assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities
• Familiarity with documentation standards and electronic medical record systems
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams
• Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace
