Mariner Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents with physical disabilities to relieve pain and restore function. Responsibilities include planning treatment under physician orders, teaching patients and families, and maintaining detailed records in line with state and federal guidelines.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and a current California license; clinical experience is preferred.
Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates and treats residents and patients with temporary or long term physical disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing by applying the therapeutic properties of exercise, heat, ultrasound, massage and other forms of treatment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Under a physician’s order, performs the following within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

May provide onsite supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants, Rehab Aides, and provisional physical therapists per state practice guidelines.
