Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida (JISF) is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our private orthopedic practice in Florida. You will work with physicians to help patients regain function through individualized treatment plans and rehabilitation.

This full-time daytime position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and opportunities to expand your manual therapy and orthotic fabrication skills.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and licensed in Florida.
• Strong communication, organization and time-management skills.
• Patient-centered approach and ability to work independently and in a collaborative team.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy, including hand and upper-extremity rehabilitation as appropriate.
• Design and fabricate custom orthoses and splints.
• Collaborate directly with physicians and other members of the clinical team to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, activity modifications and activities of daily living.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and billing documentation.

What You’ll Do

As an Occupational Therapist at JISF, you will help patients restore function, improve mobility and regain independence through individualized treatment plans.

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Florida Occupational Therapist license.
• Strong communication, organization and time-management skills.
• A patient-centered approach and commitment to excellent care.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative clinical team.

Preferred qualifications

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or actively working toward certification.
• Experience in orthopedic or hand therapy.
• Advanced training in custom orthotic fabrication, manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
