Job summary

Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in Seguin, TX is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for Rehab Services on a full-time, day-shift schedule. The role supports the physical therapist in delivering patient-centered care in an outpatient hospital-based clinic with occasional acute care coverage.

You will provide one-on-one treatments, monitor progress, and document care while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to restore and maintain patients' functional capacity.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Physical Therapy Assistant license to practice in the State of Texas.

Scope of Responsibility

Physical Therapy Assistants assist the physical therapist in performing treatment to prevent disabilities and to restore and maintain the patient’s functional capacity to an optimal level.

Responsible to the Director of Rehabilitation Services

Education

• Must hold a current Physical Therapy Assistant license to practice in the State of Texas

Training and Experience

• One or more years of clinical practice as a physical therapy assistant preferred
• Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
• Ability to work with multiple medical disciplines
• Basic computer skills
