Continuum Rehab Group in St. Charles, MO is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care facilities. You will provide skilled, evidence-based rehabilitation under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $34–$40 depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, licensure reimbursement after 1 year, CEUs, mentoring and career growth opportunities.

Formación

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant practicing in a licensed facility.
• Experience level open to all levels of therapy experience.

Responsabilidades

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients needing rehabilitation.
• Assesses and documents patient progress and communicates with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments.
• Provides counseling to patients and families related to physical disorders.
• Supports discharge planning with supervisor as required.

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision and direction of an Physical Therapist.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Assesses and document patient’s progress and communicates with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Provides input to supervisor for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
