Arbor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Services is a family-owned and operated therapy company dedicated to quality patient care and customer service. We are seeking a committed and patient-focused Physical Therapist Assistant to provide rehabilitation services at one of our locations.

The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for delivering physical therapy treatments to help patients increase independence and improve functioning under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
  • Implement the patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the primary Physical Therapist.
  • Collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement programs tailored to each patient's needs and capabilities.
  • Assist the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
  • Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program under the Physical Therapist's supervision.
Requirements:
  • Valid license to practice physical therapy.
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities preferred.
Required Skills and Traits:
  • Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking skills, and basic math skills.
  • Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude.
