Job summary

North Beach Rehabilitation Center in North Miami Beach, Florida seeks a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our interdisciplinary team and support licensed therapists in delivering personalized rehabilitation.

You will provide one-on-one sessions, assist with evaluations and treatment plans, educate patients on body mechanics, and help maintain a safe, clean environment. Salary is $40/hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatment planning, and implementation of rehabilitation programs
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, including exercises, stretches, and activities to improve ROM, strength, and flexibility
• Teach patients and families proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and health promotion strategies
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and policies

As a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, working closely with our experienced physical therapists to deliver personalized rehabilitation programs to our patients.

About the Role

As a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including those with injuries, surgeries, strokes, and chronic conditions. You will assist our physical therapists in the development and implementation of rehabilitation plans, providing one-on-one therapy sessions, and educating patients on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and health promotion. Your expertise will help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence, enabling them to return to their daily activities with confidence.

Responsibilities
