Preferred Therapy Solutions in New Canaan, CT is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient department. You will provide skilled therapy addressing pain, functional limitations, and strength-based deficits in a teamwork-focused environment.

Qualified candidates will have outpatient orthopedic experience, geriatric rehabilitation, and hold a PTA license or be license eligible.

Qualifications

• Provide skilled physical therapy care addressing pain, functional limitations, and strength-based deficits.
• Adult outpatient experience with a focus on orthopedic conditions and geriatric rehabilitation.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license or license eligible to practice in the state employed.
• Strong computer skills with Outlook, Word, Excel and experience with electronic documentation.
• Good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
• Work well with others in a team setting.
• Be flexible with hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team environment.
• Possess a PTA license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and electronic documentation.
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
