Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our physical therapy team in Houston, TX. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you will assist patients with mobility and functional goals, enabling independence in daily living.

The role prefers candidates with at least one year of clinical experience and home health exposure, contributing to high-quality home-based care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in treating patients with mobility impairments using physical modalities; help patients improve mobility, self-care, and daily living skills.

Responsibilities

Our Physical Therapy Assistants work under the direction of our Physical Therapists and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living.

Qualifications

• Be currently licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA in the state of employment.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of home health experience is preferred.
