Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering home-based care. You will assist patients to improve mobility, independence in daily living activities, and functional skills under supervision.

The role requires a PTA license, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Travel to patient homes across the service area is expected in all weather conditions.

• Active state PTA license required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive in all weather conditions.

Responsabilités

• Provide physical therapy assistant services under supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to improve mobility and independence in daily living tasks.
• Assist patients with interventions to enhance strength, flexibility and functional skills.
• Document patient progress and communicate with the PT team to optimize care.

Responsibilities

Our Physical Therapist Assistants work under the direction of our Physical Therapists and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living.

Qualifications

1. Must be a currently licensed PTA in the state of employment

2. Must possess a valid state driver's license

3. Must possess automobile liability insurance

4. Must have dependable transportation, kept in good working conditions

5. Must be able to drive automobile in all types of weather conditions.
