Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to work under Physical Therapists in patients' homes across the Kansas City area. You will help improve mobility, self-care, and daily living activities for individuals in a home-based care environment.

Responsibilities include delivering PT support, ensuring patient progress, and coordinating with PTs and care teams to optimize outcomes in the community.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently licensed PTA in the state of employment.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must have dependable transportation and be able to drive in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy support under supervision of a PT to improve mobility and daily living activities.
• Work with patients in home health settings to maximize independence and functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

Our Physical Therapist Assistants work under the direction of our Physical Therapists and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living.
