Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home-based care team. You will work under a Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions that improve mobility and independence for patients in their homes.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, driving to patient locations, and adherence to safety and care standards while supporting clients’ daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently licensed PTA in the state of employment.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must have dependable transportation, kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive automobile in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• PTA works under the direction of Physical Therapists to treat patients with physical impairments.
• Aim to improve mobility and daily living activities for patients.

Responsibilities

Our Physical Therapist Assistants work under the direction of our Physical Therapists and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living.
